Bay City 2026

Save the Ships is an ongoing wargaming and boardgaming convention series taking place across the United States onboard six historic warships and three one-of-a-kind venues. Our Bay City event takes place at the Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum in Bay City, Michigan.

Information

• Bring your own board games, tabletop games, war games, card games, snacks, drinks, and more.
• Overnight attendees will need to bring the following:
• Pillow and Blanket (sheets and bunk/hammock provided)
• Closed Toe Shoes (to explore the ship)
• Adults, families, clubs, work groups, organizations, hobbyists, and naval enthusiasts encourage to attend
• Minors must be accompanied by an adult
• Explore historic warships after hours in a way not usually experienced by the general public.
• Earplugs are helpful if you are a light sleeper as the berthing area is a semi-public space

• 5:00 PM - Check in outside the museum.
• 6:00 PM - Museum Introduction & Light Dinner + Refreshments
• 6:15 PM - Open Gaming Begins | Explore the Museum
• Warhammer 40K, Kill Team, Combat Patrol
• Kriegsspiel, Blackpowder, Bolt Action
• Immersive Undersea Warfare Simulator
• Magic: The Gathering, DnD, Tabletop Games, Board Games, Casual Games & More
• 10:00 PM - Quiet Hours in the Berthing Area Begins
• 10:00 PM - Late Night Gaming Hours Begin
• Game and relax in areas away from the berthing area

SUNDAY

• 8:00 AM - Wake Up Call
• Light breakfast provided
• 9:00 AM - All Guests and Gear Disembarked
• Bon Voyage!
